19.000 euro for emerald embryo out of dam of sterrehof’s ushi

From the famous Qerly Chin-line an embryo of Emerald has been sold to Portugal in the Embryo Auction of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. For 19.000 euro the half-sister or brother of Sterrehof’s Ushi was sold in the online auction. Among the dressage embryos, the embryo by Total McLaren out of the dam of the KWPN stallion Ladignac was the most popular; for 11.000 euro this embryo leaves for the United States.

The excellent breeding mare Barake de Muze is the dam of the highly interesting Emerald embryo. Granddam Narcotique de Muze II produced an unprecedented list of international showjumpers and approved stallions and is known as one of the best mares in the world. The Emerald x Goethe embryo leaves for Portugal and became the most expensive sold embryo for 19.000 euro.

For 18.000 euro the interesting Chacco Blue embryo from the line of Usha van ‘t Roosakker goes to a Belgian investor. A Dutch buyer purchased the embryo of For Pleasure out of Frank Schuttert’s talented Justine W; for 14.000 euro the cousin of G&C Arrayan remains in the Netherlands. The London embryo out of the half-sister of the Olympic Valentina van ‘t Heike goes to Belgium.

German buyers were fanatical with the dressage embryos; for 10.000 euro the Desperados FRH x Ferro and the Glamourdale x Havidoff go to Germany. An American investor bought the Total McLaren x Apache for 11.000 euro. The straw by Donnerhall I also caught the eye and will stay in the Netherlands for 4.750 euro.

On Tuesday 20 September, the live foal auction of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is scheduled. At the National Equestrian Center in Ermelo, the dressage and jumping foals will be auctioned on Tuesday 20 September.
