What an evening it was for the first auction edition of Olympic rider, Darragh Kenny. At the Oakland Stables Auction, conducted by Equestrian Auctions, there was a lot of bidding for the young showjumpers, foals and broodmares.
A first bid was made for the promising broodmare, Indra vd Bisschop (Heartbreaker). For this full sister of Dulf vd Bisschop an Irish buyer offered no less than 30.000 euro.
The biggest bidding duel was fought for the impressive stallion, Cornet Rouet PS (Cornet Obolensky). In the end, the black stallion moved to Monaco for no less than 190.000 euros. The six-year-old mare, Amazing Amy (Action-Breaker) moves to Germany for 132.000 euros.
"I'm really pleased with the result," says Darragh Kenny. "I'm glad the horses are moving to good riders and stables. I am already looking forward to how they will perform in the sport."
