(Elmshorn) The Holsteiner autumn event starts tomorrow, on Friday. The Elmshorn facility has been readied, the elite riding horses are on top form and the stallions applying for grading under saddle and short ability assessment move into their box stalls today. The event kicks off on Friday, 4 November at 11:00am with the stallion to be graded under saddle presented on hard ground, followed by the free jumping and the presentation under saddle. After the public presentation of the auction horses at 5:00 pm, they may be tried out under saddle. Saturday starts with the three-year-old stallions’ public presentation under the rider, while the informative performance of the one year older stallions under the test riders is scheduled for noon. During the morning, there is still opportunity for the elite riding horses to be tried out. The tension mounts in the afternoon, with the grading status to be announced and the start of the hybrid auction at 5:00pm. Bids can bid placed in the classic way, on site in the Fritz-Thiedemann-indoor arena, on the phone and online, upon previous registration on www.holsteiner.auction.

The hybrid auction definitely lives up to its elite title, as the selection of horses leaves nothing to be desired, from three-year-old up-and-coming talents with pedigrees suggesting a bright future to sport horses with first experiences in competition to stallions. Like for example lot no 124, La Douce by Million Dollar-Connor, from the direct damline of Laura Kraut’s world champion, Zeremonie. The four-year-old mare has already won jumping classes to 1.10m level and has been awarded state premium status. Or else lot no 124, Quilino by Quibery-Cayado; his second and third dams have produced numerous FEI jumpers, including for example Glock’s Cognac Champlanc (Gerco Schröder/NED), H&M Chilli Willi (Nicola Philippaerts/BEL) or Camiro (Toni Andre Hansen/NOR). Three-year-old Quilino counts among the very promising uncut diamonds. Another interesting lot is no 109, Casacano E by Cascadello I-Cancara, who has already been attracting a lot of interest from prospective buyers in the run-up. The elite auction also caters to Holsteiner dressage enthusiasts, with a three-year-old Vitalis-De Niro offspring, Valentino, a horse with great dressage potential.

All information on the horses is available on holsteiner.auction. For all questions around the auction and on the auction horses, do not hesitate to contact Felix Flinzer (+49 162 3493942). Try-outs and viewings can be arranged until the start of the auction.
