Paardenveilingonline has closed its final auction of the year with impressive results. With 80% of all horses sold and an average price exceeding €11,000, the December edition confirms the ongoing trust of buyers across the globe. The auction drew nearly 30,000 visitors from around the world, with particularly strong interest from Europe and North America.

Top prices: young horses up to €30,000
The highest price of the auction was achieved by Roli Coeur Field (Cornado II x Kannan GFE), a mare from a pedigree stacked with Grand Prix sires, who sold for €30,000 to a buyer in Lebanon. Close behind was Raissa van de Beekermark (Comme il Faut x Lector van den Bisschop), a direct daughter of the KWPN showjumping champion Menoor, changing hands for €23,000 to the United Kingdom.

Another highlight was Selanda X (United Touch S x California W Z), closely related to the 1.50m mare Rubio Monocoat Electric; she impressed international bidders and will travel to New Zealand for €22,000. The domestic market was also active: Socrates (Chaplin x Voltaire), from the direct damline of 1.50m winner Joan, sold for €16,000 and will remain in the Netherlands. Carlos Lux Z (Conthargos x Heartbreaker), a half-brother to the 1.50m horse Thunatellie Z, moves to Greece for €15,000, while Royalty (Gullit HBC x Douglas) from the damline of Emeraldo and Dazzle White also fetched €15,000 and stays on Dutch soil.

Strong embryo market: top lots up to €20,000
The embryo collection once again confirmed its strong position in the market. The top lot was an implanted embryo by United Touch S out of Cassinja S, a proven 1.60m lineage, which sold for €20,000 to Ireland. A female Aganix du Seigneur embryo out of the 1.60m mare Tinkabell 12, combining one of Europe’s most sought-after sires with a powerful damline, realised €13,000 and remains in the Netherlands.

Further notable results included an implanted United Touch S x Minou embryo, tied to the respected Forsyth line, selling for €10,000, as well as a Grandorado TN x Celoubette embryo for €9,000. The collection was rounded off by a Chacco-Blue x Fin Fleur embryo, descending from the influential Colman line, which sold for €8,000 to the United Kingdom. The results underline that forward-thinking breeders continue to invest in genetics that combine modern sport stallions with deep, proven damlines.
