38 lots were auctioned by Ben Malisart and Dirk Zagers last Saturday evening at Azelhof. It was a beautiful evening and the public and the buyers clearly enjoyed this great event. The tone was set right away because no less than 9.500 euro was collected for the good cause, Hart voor Marthe vzw.

Also the foals were sold quickly, where Chablis Blue de Mauretus Z, a beautiful daughter of Chacco Blue out of an exceptional dam line, was crowned auction topper. The mare will leave for Slovakia for an amount of 33.000 euro.

Versace vd Bisschop was the second most expensive foal. This son of Emerald out of the full sister of Mumbai is sold for 20.000 euro and stays in Belgium. 

Among the broodmares it was Tax Free KC, a daughter of Thunder vd Zuuthoeve out of the damline of Hardrock Z, who was very popular. She will leave to Italy for 26.000 euros.

The embryos were exceptionally well appreciated with the embryo of Carerra de Muze being sold for 20.000 euro. The female embryo out of Cordiana Hero Z was sold for 19.000 euro, just like the embryo of Jenna v/h Meulenhof.

With an average price for the broodmares of 20.000 euro, an average for the embryos of 18.000 euro and an average for the foals of 14.000 euro the organisation looks back on its auction with satisfaction.
