BWP has finished its first organization of the BWP Elite Foal Auction. With 85% of the foals effectively sold and an average sale price of 10.000 euro, the auction can be considered as a success.
The most expensive foal, Vega AEG, was sold for 23.000 euro and remains in Belgium. Vega is a daughter of Conthargos x Indoctro. Her mother is the full sister of Hello M'Lady (Spr. 1m60). Vega was bred by Stal Aegten.
The three highest prices that followed were all paid by Hungarian buyers. Vuitton EH as well as Vino vd Bisschop and Vancouver de Tiji are moving to Hungary. Vuitton and Vancouver go to the same stable of Viktor Nyiri. Vuitton EH, from the breeding farm of BWP partner Axel Verlooy-EuroHorse, was sold for 20.500 euro. Vuitton is a son of Don VHP x Kannan out of the 1.60 mare Kismet.
For Vino van den Bisschop 19.500 euro was paid. He is sired by Chacco Blue x Cicero and was bred by Stal Den Bisschop. He comes from the damline of Coriana van Klapscheut and was bought by Mr. Szuhai Gyula. He also bought the foal Valoubreaker-M for 11.500 euro.
Vancouver de Tiji leaves for 15.000 euro. This stallion by Grandorado TN x Don't Touch Tiji Hero has as third mother the 1.60 mare Carlina IV. Breeder of Vancouver is T&J BVBA.
It was also striking that some big stallion owners already bought some stallion prospects. For example Egbert Schep, De Breemeersen, Van de Heffinck and Het Netehof all bought a colt.
