The highlight of the first Broodmare & Embryo Auction of this year is Habiana V.O.D. (s. Bretton Woods) for 44,000 euros. After a long bidding duel between buyers from different countries, it is a German buyer who may welcome this mare. Habiana V.O.D. is a half-sister of, amongst others, the World Champion of 2021: Kjento (s. Negro) and is in foal to the successful Grand Prix stallion Desperado N.O.P.

20 pregnant mares and three embryos went under the digital hammer tonight. Besides foreign buyers from Canada, Spain, Belgium, United Kingdom, Latvia, Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic, there are also some mares sold to the Netherlands. On average the mares brought in 14,630 euro.

The embryo of Comme Il Faut leaves for an amount of 24.000 for Belgium. The most expensive jumping mare was Zirocco Blue daughter Elinn, this sport mare is expecting a foal of Lambada Shake AG this year.

The next online auction will be a collection of three- and four-year-old showjumping and- dressage horses.
