In the following weeks, several horses will fly from the Netherlands to their new stables abroad. There was a lot of shopping going on at the 14th Youhorse.auction on Tuesday, September 7th. Three horses were even bid up to 32.000 euros.

"As long as they have quality and jump well, there is really a lot of interest in the horses," says Mario Everse, who founded the online auction last year in the first lockdown with Alan Waldman. "We managed to sell the majority of horses again. There were many new customers, but it also gives a good feeling that regular Youhorse.auction customers bid and bought again. They must be happy with the horses they have from our auction, otherwise they won't come back."

Of the three horses that were sold for 32.000 euros, two will leave for the United States. They are the palomino Macciato HDH (Ice Cream HDH x Oklund) out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Anastasia HDH and the nine-year-old Duchess Eva (Arezzo VDL x Indoctro), who produced two foals before starting her sport career. The three-year-old Spirit van de Gaathoeve (Eras STE Hermelle x Lord Z) will move to Switzerland.

For 30.000 euro the four year old Casablanca Z (Cornet Obolensky x Numero Uno) becomes Macchiato HDH's stablemate. A Polish customer bought three horses, among them the three year old Soricco van 't Slot (Grandorado TN x Nabab de Reve) for 22.000 euro and the five year old Love me Tender (Cornet Obolensky x Numero Uno) for 17.000 euro. Sweden noted four purchases, the Netherlands three. Furthermore the horses were sold to England, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, Romania and Italy. 

"We are happy with the result. We had quite a difficult day with filming and photographing the horses. We had so much rain, but decided to stay outside. We want to stay as close to nature as possible with the horses. It feels like a reward tonight, for the effort of our people and our contributors", tells Mario Everse.

Youhorse.auction now organises an online auction every Tuesday of the month and that means that they immediately look ahead to the next and already 15th edition from 2 until 5 October. The photo/video day is planned for next week. Owners can register their horses of two years and older and after selection present them to the wide international network of Youhorse.auction.
