Münster: 42 dressage and show jumping horses were up for sale online at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch this afternoon. 86 percent of them were sold to a new owner. Tot he price peak advanced the licensed Escamillo/Diamond Hit son Esdras. He was worth an incredible 120,000 Euros to his new owners. On average, the customers invested 22,171 Euros in their new young horse this afternoon.
The BidUp of the Westphalian Summer Auction was exciting until the very end. Especially the licensed son of the Vice World Champion Escamillo (breeder: Kai Haarlammert, Lienen; exhibitor: BG Haarlammert und Schult, Hünxe) aroused great desires. 15 parties fought for the knock down of the stallion. After 114 bids, the virtual hammer fell at the top price of 120,000 Euros. Esdras convinced throughout the auction with his type and enormous drive from the hind leg. Ready to perform, with a lot of comprehension, he masters his daily tasks with bravura.
Ten show jumpers were up for sale in the collection of this summer auction. Eight of them found a new owner this afternoon. The most popular offer for future tasks in the show jumping ring was the head number 34. The son of Comme il faut NRW/Cassini I (breeder and exhibitor: Sportpferde Merschformann, Rosendahl) is already highly placed up to medium level tests for young show jumpers. Cooper impresses with his caution and first class willingness for sport. He was worth 35,500 Euros to his new owners. In total, three of the sold show jumpers cracked the 30,000 Euro mark.
Due to the renovation work at the Westphalian Horse Centre, the dressage horses were stabled at the Haus-Giesking stud in Nottuln-Appelhülsen. "Thanks to the great hospitality of the Tecklenborg family, it was possible for us to hold our summer auction without any complications. Our whole dressage team felt very comfortable at Gestüt Haus-Giesking! A big thank you goes to the Tecklenborg family," said auction manager Thomas Münch. The customers also felt comfortable at the stud. The training of the dressage horses was well attended during the ten-day auction period.
Of the 42 dressage and show jumping horses offered, 36 changed hands this afternoon. Customers invested an average of 21,661 Euros for the 28 dressage horses sold, the eight show jumpers sold were worth an average of 21,188 Euros to customers. In total, the Westphalian Stud Book turned over 776,000 Euros this afternoon. Nine horses will be further promoted abroad in the future.
Already tomorrow evening, the Westphalian Horse Stud Book will continue with itsonline auctions. 32 of the youngest Westphalians are for sale in an online auction. The BidUp starts at 7.30 pm.
