Münster: 14 youngster with a dressage predispositioned for dressage were offered for sale at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch this evening. Once again, the Warendorf state stud stallion Zoom showed his popularity as a sire. His son Zocker ST advanced to the top price of the evening. On average, the customers had to invest 13,575 Euros in the 10 youngsters sold.

The Reserve Champion of the Westphalian Main Licensing 2016, Zoom, has often attracted attention with his offspring. Also on this evening it was a son of the North Rhine-Westphalian State Stud stallion who became the price leader with the head number 1. Zocker ST was bred by Paul Schulze-Tenberge, Gronau-Epe, out of the dam Formaggia ST by Farbenspiel. With a striking face and impressive movement quality, the gelding exhibited by Ulrike Mühlhausen, Metelen, convinced all along the line. For the knock-down price of 27,500 Euros, he changed hands to customers from the Rhineland. With the offspring of his first crop, the premium stallion of the Westphalian Main Licensing 2017, Fürst Samarant, is currently shines. The most popular mare of this auction was a daughter of the competition proven stallion. With the head number 3 Fürstin Samarant (breeder: Thore Baldrich, Neustadt; exhibitor: Heinrich Kampmeyer, Tecklenurg) descends from the dam line of the Grand Prix horses White Foot (Michael Klimke/GER) and World Magic (Ulla Salzgeber/GER). At the knock-down price of 14,000 Euros, customers from the Rhineland are looking forward to the future of this attractive chestnut mare.

The only pony of the auction had the head number 9. Trampolin by Totilas/Londonderry (breeder: Sascha Hahn, Bramsche; exhibitor: Dino Soddemann, Nottuln) is a likeable pony stallion with a lot of quality. He was worth 10,500 Euros to his new owners from Hesse.

70 percent of the 14 horses offered could find new owners this evening. Two of them will start their careers outside of Germany in Spain. On average, the customers invested 13,575 Euros in their new dressage aspirant.

"This was the last but one youngster auction of this spring," summed up auction manager Thomas Münch. "In two weeks there will be another 16 youngsters with a pedigree predispositioned for jumping for sale." Apart from the foal auctions, which are scheduled throughout the summer at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch, the next unridden youngsters of the 2020 vintage will then be up for sale again in September. In one week's time, the pilot project "Eventers from Westphalia" will end in anexciting BidUp. Ten highly interesting young horses that are waiting to start their career in cross-country are up for sale in this first edition. Bids can be submitted from Thursday onwards.
